GREENACRES, FL – Today, local Republican businessman Brandon Cabrera, CEO of The BrandX Company, announced his campaign for Florida House District 93. “I’m excited to begin this campaign, to offer real representation to the people of District 93, and to expand Governor DeSantis’ freedom blueprint in Palm Beach County,” Cabrera said. “I want everyone to know that I am someone who cares about your quality of life, that I understand the struggle that many families are going through right now, and that I’m running to help make life better for all of the people in District 93.”
Mr. Cabrera was born and raised in District 93, and attended Palm Beach Central High School where he was captain of the varsity lacrosse team. After working at the family business, Tropical Bakery, for many years, he established The BrandX Company, a Palm Beach County-based real estate development company, in 2018. Cabrera has built over 20 affordable single-family homes and 25 apartment units in central Palm Beach County, some of which are in District 93.
While running a successful real estate business, Cabrera has been active in the community for many years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Discover the Palm Beaches, the City of Greenacres Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals, the City of Palm Springs Construction Board of Adjustment and Appeals, Board of Directors of Hispanic Vote PAC, and is a Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce of The Palm Beaches, to name a few.
House District 93 is currently held by Rep. Katherine Waldron (D-FL) who was first elected to the seat and moved into the district in 2022.
The Brandon Cabrera campaign is also pleased to announce the endorsement of Palm Beach County Commissioner Michael Barnett (R-FL). “I’m proud to support Brandon Cabrera and I endorse his campaign for Florida State House District 93,” Commissioner Barnett said. “Brandon is a successful entrepreneur, small business owner, and community leader who can deliver results for the people of District 93,” stated Barnett.
