GREENACRES, FL – Local Republican businessman Brandon Cabrera is pleased to announce that his campaign for Florida House District 93 will report $48,150 in total contributions in the first 30 days. “I’m grateful for the support I have received out of the gate and I’m looking forward to connecting with voters in the weeks and months ahead,” Cabrera said.
Mr. Cabrera was born and raised in District 93, and attended Palm Beach Central High School where he was captain of the varsity lacrosse team. After working at the family business, Tropical Bakery, for many years, he established The BrandX Company, a Palm Beach County-based real estate development company, in 2018. Since then, Cabrera has built over 20 affordable single-family homes and 25 apartment units in central Palm Beach County, some of which are in District 93. If elected, Cabrera would become the first Hispanic American born in Palm Beach County to serve in the Florida legislature.
House District 93 is currently held by Rep. Katherine Waldron (D-FL) who was first elected to the seat and moved into the district in 2022. Waldron’s campaign reportedly raised $0.00 during the same reporting period (04/01/23-04/30/23), ending with a total $240.20 in cash on hand.
